Recent developments in advanced laser and SLED technology have fuelled an explosion of scientific and commercial interest in Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). This new medical imaging modality could soon become as big as ultrasound, MRI, X-ray and PET imaging in the growing $100BN medical imaging global market. Applications of OCT abound in areas such as cancer, vascular disease, orthopaedics and ophthalmology.
This symposium is aimed at informing senior professionals in business, investment and public sector organisations interested in medical imaging, the current state of the art, and the driving clinical needs and growth in commercial potential of OCT.
Speakers will include: Dr Sandeep Shah (Tarilian Consulting), Professor Wolfgang Drexler (Cardiff University), Professor Hugh Barr (Gloucester Royal Hospital), and Jon Holmes (Michelson Diagnostics Ltd).
